Hello from Sweden,

 

I recently got a 2004 vRS from my cousing for 750£ and for that money it has some faults, but the only fault that is bothering me is that my left light doesent seem to adjust.
When i start the car the right light adjusts and gives a perfect leveled light. the left one starts leveled but then just dips straight down instantly and it's pretty much useless.

 

I've tried the search function and google, I've found that it can be as easy as going to a dealer to get it adjusted. But is there anything I can try before going to a dealer?

Ive had this with both of my headlights.  (not at the same time thankfully!)

 

I removed them from the car and stripped them down, cleaned then when I re connected them the motor started and adjustment has been fine on both since.  I guess it had just stuck as I cant think of anything that I really did. 

 

Pain in the arse getting them past the headlight washers though, put a cloth over them so as not to scratch them!
