Fantastic stuff!

Part of a special offer over on UK-MIV forum from Serious Performance.

Collonite wax (paste or liquid form), two sponge applicators & a super soft microfibre cloth.

Washed with Meguiars Gold Class & then waxed with this stuff after work today, & the results are amazing!

Far easier to apply & buff off than any other wax I'ved used.

And I've barely scraped the top layer of wax in the tin! One application is supposed to last about a year, so the tin should last several years!

No pics yet, I'm afraid, as it's too dark now.

Took some pics this morning before it started to rain.

Only just put the Toyos on, but the Contis will be getting replaced soon.

Top blokes at that Serious Performance place. Been chatting to Alex there today asking some product advice and got some very helpful (and speedy) replies!

Well priced too ;)

Hi and thanks for switching me on to this stuff Jon. I needed something that would keep the paint protected long term.

Spoke to Alex at Serious Performance. Good advice and service from there. Had a chance to wax about half the car today in between appointments.

This stuff is pretty amazing. Goes on really easily and buffs up with little effort leaving a glass smooth and slipery surface with a deep shine. The car is only 4 weeks old, so still has the dealers wax on. The bits of the car I got to do today look more vibrant and vivid red than the bits I have not polished. So red it almost hurts to look at in the sun.

Good looking results, I'm tempted to get some of that stuff. How long did the waxing take to do?

About 1 hour maximum, doing one panel at a time. Very easy to use. No hard buffing required.

OK, cheers for that. Do you think doing a second coat straight after the first would bring any benefit in terms of shine?

Only ever had time to do this once with Meguiars Gold Class Wax, and I'm not sure if I could tell the difference, relative to the amount of effort that went in! :)

Nah. I was very impressed with the first coat & is supposed to be long lasting.

The results above are after one coat.

I use Swissol, and swear by the stuff.

But the camera doesn't lie, and the results are stunning  .

Does it go to powder? And do you think it will last long? The Swissol seems to protect for ages.

No powder at all, infact very little residue.

One month on, & it still beads up the water like it should. Only time will tell though.

Spoke to Alex on the 'phone and he did me the deal, two applicators and a large microfibre cloth.

The wax went on pretty easily, with just a little powdering. The longer you leave it to haze, the harder it gets to burnish, but is not difficult even when completely set. This morning was the first time I had driven the car after rain since waxing it (well only got time to do the horizontal surfaces and waistline up). The water beads up much better than whatever the showroom put on, I left a test area unwaxed on the roof just to see how it compared. This morning when I drove out of the hotel car park, I saw the water just roll off the car sideways and by the time I got the two miles to where I was going, all the waxed surfaces were completely dry. Where I had not waxed, water still clung on. The waxed areas seem to stay clean as if the rain helps take off road gunge as well.

The Collinite is the best wax I ever used by a long way. Did my driving school headboard in it this evening, hopefully will keep it cleaner longer.
