vacuum pipe fault

Hi I have a 55 plate mk2 skoda octavia 1.9 tdi

The problem I am having is when ever you put you foot down the turbo don't come in it is as if the turbo is not there I have plugged it in to the reader and it's coming up with boost pressure sensor I can hear a air sound coming from the bank of vacuum pipes at the rear of the engine bay and it seem to be one of the seals in side the black box what the pipe goes in to.

Can anyone confirm if there have had this fault or heard of the seals going in there
