Is this the right part ?

Featured Replies

Hey guys the boot release mechanism has gone on my VRS, i have narrowed down the fault to the motor that is inside the sealed unit, the little brass cog spins when nothing is connected, but as soon as reconnect it all the motor makes the noise but the cog no longer spins, something must be bust inside as any bit of tension on the cog stops it spinning.

Is this the correct replacement part, i don't need the whole locking mechanism but can't find the sealed unit anywhere so i will have to buy the whole thing.

That's the one! 6Y0827511F for vehicles w/o central locking

Will this work on my 2005 Fabia Estate? Are they universal between the Fabia Mark 1's?

My boot wont open wither, unless i climb into the back and manually push the pin with my finger.

Which part on the boot should i replace? The bottom like this one or the top part?

thanks

MkI only but will fit Hatch and Estate. Tailgate lock will be different...
