Featured Replies

iam about to order some new wheels since my dealer scratched 2 of my old ones and will pay for 2 new ones . (3sdm 0.01 or 06

 / 08)

so the question is . 18 x 8 ET32  vs 18 x 8.5 et 35 .

no problems with the clearence atm but iam not sure how much more the 8.5 will stand out the arches

thx

Marc

Not sure on the size you are looking at,

I have had on for a try Audi A1 Competition Sport Polygon Alloys but they were

18 X 7.5J  * ET 39.5*, with 225/35 R 18" Tyres. This was not on a lowered vRS

I know a member that had a lowered vRS with 18 x 8J alloys , not idea of the ET, but he had 215/35 R 18 Tyres fitted.

225/35 R18 tyres would not fit in the arches without rubbing .

For tyres

http://kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator

215/35 R 18 is nearer to the 205/40 R17 or 215/40 R17

than the 225/35 R 18 i had on which are a greater total diameter and rolling radius.
