Tyre pressure warning light.

Featured Replies

Hi just bought a 07 mk 11 1.9 ambiente. The tyre pressure warning light came on after a few miles.I checked pressure and it was ok but there is no button on the dash to reset light.Any ideas anyone?

Did they have tyre pressure warning on the Ambiente? I never had it on the Elegance Mk2's.

It's an Irish reg car.It has the warning light but no reset button on dash which I find strange.Don't know how to reset it.

I don't have the standard fit Skoda TPMS, but my understanding is there should be a TPMS button on the centre consol (near the lidded ashtray) that you push until it 'bongs'. You should do this every time you adjust your tyre pressure.

Without the button you need VCDS to reset/disable it.

Well I thought there should be as well but where the TPMS  button should be there is just a blank button. There are five buttons above the ashtray, the the three middle buttons are just blank and the two outer ones are airbag and TRS

You can retrofit the button. EddieNL on here can make up the required loom IIRC. I have VCDS so enabled TPMS on my car without the button. The system is part of the ABS so the type and version of ABS controller dictates whether it can be enabled.
