Not that I had any doubts but the pick up past its MOT today, just TAX to get now which I think I have to go to the post office for as its currently declared as SORN. Have got a new computerised MOT which you can do the tax online but cant see how i works when SORN.

Nearly there now, bit more sound deadening to go in, new side windows and door trims to fit and when the sub arrives with its box fit that up and off we go.

I wish I had SORN'd mine now, but I never knew how long it was going to be off the road for.

You could SORN retrospectively from my experience of eMailing the DVLA. Had to get a form (offline) to do it, but might be worth a shot, without knowing your circs.

I know when come to get my tax again as it will not be a full year since I declared it SORN I need a form from the post office i.e I dont have a tax or SORN reminder to take. I'm not sure however how this effects online licensing.

The DVLA site seems about as clear as mud on it..lol.

Turns out all I needed to do is quote the V5 ref number in my online application and it all went through. Checks your insurance on the national database and the new electronic MOT and takes payment via debit card. Tax disc arrives in the post in the next 5 days.

Took about 10 mins start to finish, a hell of alot quicker than being stood in the Post office
