Are you sure it's tar? It's looking like you have a bit of paint bubble issues around there.

Sorry yes mark is tar bubbles are the clay lube I had sprayed on. Thanks.

I assumed the bubbling was just water drops.

Possibly rust under the paint anyway.

Ultimately need to cut in a little bit to see if its on the surface, or coming from underneath

I am hoping if its just a stain embedded into the clearcoat from the tar a little bit of cutting polish would remove it.

I'd recommend Auto finesse obliTARate it's always worked a treat for me.

Thanks all, I need some new tar remover so may try the Oblitarete for a change.

There was a huge blob of tar on top of this mark so I'm sure its not from underneath, I may just have to use some of my autogylm paint restorer and see if this cuts deeper, does look like the top coat has been stained so may need to be a bit more aggressive then polish/seal afterwards.

Autoglym paint restorer used a bit more aggressively has worked, then refined using Autoglym SRP then waxed all now good.

Glad to see another member using AG products.

Good result.  I thought it just needed a little more aggressive approach to sort. :)

I use AG stuff all the time,  I was using tyre dressing, trim gel and glass polish earlier this evening. :)
