Hi, can anyone make sense of this?  My Fabia Mk2 passenger door open warning indicator comes on intermittently (over last 18 months!) and it's doing it again now.  Garage cannot find fault. Door lock was replaced. I've tried disconnecting the electric window motor (thank you to others on the site that suggested this, I assume that the two connectors were to be unplugged?) but it still sets off the "bing, bing, bing".  Weirdly some time ago when it happened I turned up the aircon heat and that seemed to produce a result (grasping at straws about condensation short somewhere), anyway dosen't work this time..... The only thing that shuts the noise off is PARTLY opening the door!  Indicator comes on, but no "bing, bing, bing".  I did contact Skoda but , whilst helpful enough, the reply is "take it to the dealer".  I think I will have to do this but hate to think what the cost is going to be! It could take a long time to go through a trial and error process ££££££!

HI do you have a control panel in your drivers door arm rest my son had same problem and he had to change that control panel the one with all the window switches and door lock on and it cured the problem it was a Octavia good luck
