Wheel alignment following damper upgrade

Featured Replies

Advice please.

I had my 2008 Octy RS lowered with Eibach spring, but kept original shocks, a few years ago and as part of that I had all the tracking and alignment done.

I'm now looking at getting the Koni STR.T shocks fitted (8750-1005 front and 8050-1006 rear) but will I need to have the tracking and alignment done again?

If you've not had it done for a few years it'll probably be worth doing anyway. Better to spend £50 up front than having to change tyres early.

Good thinking Aspman.

Also, are the Koni STR.T shocks and Eibach springs a good combo, or is there a better option available for similar money?

Its not a lot for piece of mind. Had all of my fleet done in the last year. Octy was a bit out, but just in Spec. The Auris and SLK were miles out and both drive much better after adjustment.
