Lot to do in a day and odd problem with cruise control

After waiting for ages for my mate to be able to come with his vcds I finally activated the cruise control on the car today along with swapping clocks to maxidot, coding new keys, turning of the stupid 2 turn locking and a multitude of other things. For some reason though turning off the cruise control on the stalk or pressing the lower button beeps the horn lol. Any ideas anyone? I only have mate here till around 9pm so any help before that would be fab. He drives an audi a4 so is no expert on the octavia.
