2010 elegance estate - new owner questions.

Featured Replies

We've just changed our C'eed for a 2010 Elegance estate 1.2 TSI. We've done a near 100 mile trip home and trip says 45mpg so more likely 41-42 realistic. Very pleased. Few questions:

- has electric front windows but not one touch. Can I change coding or switche change to enable?

- I've enabled remote windows with Carista but doesn't seem to be working

- can I change it so the rear lights come on with the DRLs?

- can I change the car so that I can leave the lights in the on position without it beeping at me when turned off?

- our mk1 vRS had bulb out warning but not on the mk2. Was it removed?

Tried enabling needle sweep but no cigar. We've got curve headlights on our car which I'm looking forward to trying!

I need to get a Bluetooth cable into the car and my spare module as soon as.

Another question. I have checked the air filter and it looks relatively new. However it has likely a felt liner around the paper filter. I've not seen one like it before and not sure if it should be like that!!

I've attached some pictures for reference.

Welcome to the forum.

I won't be able to answer all questions but try my best.

The one touch I have in my fabia vrs but my dad hasn't in his 08 plate

Think the drls are front only or just put side lights on

The lights in on position annoys me as my old corsa you could but appears not on the skoda

A lot of filters now have the foam wrap. Some ppl remove some leave on. Makes no real odds either way.

Hope this helps a little

Thanks. I did google image search the air filter and found a real mix of use as you have suggested. I guess it adds some more protection.

I thought that one of the VCDS options was to change a country code that would drl fr and rr cluster lit. I could be wrong

I have just tried the bulb blown feature and it didn't work on my car so whether its a backwards stage on skoda's behalf.

I just had a doh moment. I moved the battery from our C'eed to the new car as it was only a few months old. I didn't reset the window limits. Just been out and done that and now they work...... They go down on the button but not up. More investigation tomorrow.
