Quaife still the main one to go for on the Octavia vRS?

Nope i wasnt convinced i got a wavetrac ready to go in

I'm just guessing but I imagine you'll find people in the Wavetrac vs Quaife camps.

Yeah all depends on what you fancy and what price you can get it for i suppose ! Quaife are very good but i liked the idea of the Wavetrac better. Have a google or look at vids on youtube as i did, helped to make my mind up !

Hadn't heard of Wavetrac. Thought Quaife as they've been around for years and Awesome GTI can supply and fit. Where does the Wavetrac diff?

Its American mate is slightly different from quaife and peloquin in the fact that it basically splits the torque bias better and drives the opposite wheel when the other has no load or grip, its difficult for me to explain without writing for a while ! Type Wavetrac diff into google and it will bring up a few pages have a scroll through and you should find a section how it works differently to a peloquin or quaife. I think Garagemidnight do them in uk £1005 for diff and ARP crownbolts, then fitting on top. I started a thread on mk5golfgti forum last year asking about starting a groupbuy for an LSD and AlexVrs said he would organise one but as i now have a Wavetrac i havent looked to see if he is taking names yet

Mate i posted.a link onto here for you but christ knows where its gone ! Im on my mobile using tapatalk ! Me and tech aint seeing eye to eye at the moment !
