Those who have a vrs tdi 170bhp. When does your turbo kick in? Only picked mine up today and it seems to lag in 2nd gear but then belts it at 2500-3000rpm? This normal?

Sounds about right. Not really looked at the revs but sounds same as mine - also a CR170

All diesel turbos do this if your too far down the revs then nowt happens, soon learn on the approach to roundabouts to get the right gear!

Pulls ace from around 2500ish to somewhere around 4000 to 4500. Then new gear nicely in the boost range and pulls again.

Yeah its about 2250rpm roughly. Excuse if I sound daft. First turbo motor ha!loving it so far
