Just as an end note to this thread, purchased my first ever bottle of BSD.

Got a 750ml bottle from an ebay seller for 11.75 with free shipping which wasn't too bad.

Gave it a bit of a go on Bismark and I have to say I'm impressed, now I see why you guys recommend it!

Gave the other halfs Panther Black Ford a go over today and wow, the finish really 'pops'

Thanks guys, you're all top people. :)

Its an awesome product that should be in everyones car cleaning kit

Yup it's quality!

I got around to sealing my winter rims with the carbon collective platinum coat during the week.  seems fairly straight forward.  the rims were brand new but I wiped them over with IPA, then used the little cotton cloth to put the sealant on.  with it being clear, and only needing a few drops, it wasn't easy to see if I was trying to do too much/too thin a coating, or too thick, so I errred on the thin side and ended up using half a bottle to do 2 coats over 2 consecutive nights.  think all is well except I have a couple of white marks where I think I missed a bit when I went back and buffed, but nothing to fuss about.  I suppose only time will tell if I've done it right, but clean, wipe with a few drops, leave a bit, buff, repeat next day...surely I can't have got it wrong!

plenty left in the bottle to do the gemini rims now.

Great work Neil

I had half a bottle left too after two coats

Thanks for the suggestion re the CC platinum Chris.  Also, a thumbs up for Bear's wax where I bought it.  I ordered a few other bits to get free delivery and most came swiftly but the pourboys natty wax, I was told would be dispatched separately.  TYhat hadn't arrived after a week or so so I emailed Bears, and asked if it was delayed or possibly missing.  Swift email reply, seemed it was MIA, so another sent out directly.  Post office were unfortunately very slow again so saturday, 4 days on, still no wax.  I emailed Bears again about 2200 saturday night and got an instant reply from Martin!  We agreed to leave it a few more days, and PO finally delivered it Monday.  All in all, good correspondence from Martin kept me happy, well done Martin.
