Malfunction on motor for trunk

Featured Replies

Hej Briskoda

This forum enlighted my knowledge on how to open my trunk, when my key or handle now no longer functions correct.

The handle haven't worked in a while, but we lived with just using the key.

But now the key doesn't work either. It just says a shurt buzzing, and then...nothing...

I figured out how to open the door from inside (didn't know It was described in the manual, but know I do :-))

You can see what happens when I'm in the trunk filming the non-working motor here

It should just be a matter of changing the motor, but can't seem to find a replacement sparepart on the internet.

Can't find any sparepartnumber anywhere.

Any suggestions ?

Best  Regards

Kristoffer

As a temporary fix,I'd be tempted to superglue an old piece of solid polybush or rubber to the end part of that top lever to force it to nudge the next component. [ if that makes any sense to you ]
