Dash board warning light?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have a 2011 Skoda fabia 1.6 TDi with 60000 on the clock and this warning light comes on when I turn the ignition but goes off when I start the engine, no oil leak either!

Any ideas?

Do you not have an audible warning as well.

Read Page 30 of the Owners Manual.

The Warning Light Flashes Yellow. (engine Oil Level Sensor Faulty)

re

'Oil Sensor Workshop'.

You need to have it checked out.

Funnily enough I have a 1.6TDI, just out of warrenty (1month) and it has just come up with this!! They want £60 to find out what it is even though I got it briefly looked at and they were like ohh it's a sensor and it needs to be replaced!

Anyone had this fixed?

i had it replaced under warranty a few months ago although when it happened to me it was just a flashing oil can, no beeping and no message but the stealers said it was a sensor that req'd changing

cant tell you what it cost as like i say it was a warranty job
