Hello from Bucks

I have been driving Jaguar V8's for the last ten years or so (present one is circa 2005), but recently had the opportunity to drive a low spec Superb Estate for a few weeks, a replacement hire car for my wife when a young girl pulled out in front of her at point blank range when she was doing 50mph (nobody hurt I'm pleased to say) - I was mighty impressed with the performance and economy from a 140 bhp engine, roughly one third that of my supercharged XJR, and the overall ride and handling was a delight.

So a few months along and I'm on the verge of taking ownership of my first Skoda, a rather nice Superb Estate in L&K trim. I've been trawling through the relevant forums as there are one or two things I will probably tackle once I have done the deal - I fancy the MDI retrofit and would also like to add a reversing camera.

The forum looks an excellent source of information, very much like the Jaguar forum I have been a member of for a good few years, I look forward to making use of the wealth information available and hopefully add some of my own as time goes on.
