lazy detail?

Featured Replies

Hey guys. I have a silver pre- f/l octy.

Unfortunately I have several trapped nerves in my lower back from an old motorcycle accident which means I get pretty bad back pain when bending, arching, over a period of time (whaa, whaa whaa, whatever).

My question is I have somewhat neglected her recently, when I first got her ,(14 months ago) I gave her a really good wash, clayed, polished, waxed. Well it nearly killed me lol in agony for about 3 days after. Since then she has been subjected to harsh and lazy drive throughs at the local garage, its now getting to the point that she still looks grubby even after that.

There is a question in there and here it comes.

What products if any could I use for minimal time spent cleaning and get decent results. I currently have AG car shampoo, AG resin polish, and mer Gold wax. While they do give a decent shine they also take a bit of work. Don't have a drive way either so can't snow foam.

Guess what I'm asking is decent shampoo to get car clean then a long lasting wax/polish?

I'm a complete novice at detailing, used to be a mechanic so always got the valeters at work to clean it lol

If you can employ the services of a nearby Detailer, they should be able to apply some Ceramic Sealant for you, which, when applied, will make cleaning the car a doddle
