Gona play around with wrapping my grill tomorrow. Any tips?

Keep a hairdryer / hot air gun handy throughout, especially when fitting onto a grill round those nooks and crannys, dont be afraid to stretch it, if youve bought decent wrap (preferably 3m) then it will take some real stick before becoming deformed . Also you can pull it away and refit it numerous times to get the desired position with most vinyl.

 

make sure the area is spotlessly clean before application ofc + remember to beware those awful bubbles .

So what will the hair dryer do? Shrink the vinyl to the surface. Melt away any exess? That right how im trying to explain it? Lol?

I guess the heat softens the wrap a little, makes it conform to irregular shapes and profiles a little easier.

The hairdryer makes the vinyl more maluable, hence easier to apply, and as Mence rightly said it makes it form to abstract angles like on your grill
