I've had some boost issues lately error code 17964. I've eradicated N75 and don't have and leaks in the tubing. So I set aside yesterday to do the Mr Muscle treatment. But I thought I'd check the EGR before I started and this is what I found.

The pipe to the EGR cooler was also blocked with black soot.

Cleaned out the whole lot had the EGR checked on a " live test"and it still works. Still have the boost problem and now I'm blowing white smoke instead of black which in an odd way makes me feel happier.

I'll clean the turbo next week and I have a feeling the intercooler could do with a clean. So that's my Monday sorted.
