A return to good value Skoda's?

Featured Replies

The entry level Superb 1.4 S version at £18.6k would appear to represent good value against an Octavia 1.2 SE at £17.9k (list).

(Especially if it comes with independent rear suspension).

What do you think?

I'd be happy to pay an additional £700 for increased refinement and comfort.

Or is there something I've missed on the spec sheet?

If the new Superb is better than the existing model then I agree that it is great VFM.

If there are run out offers on the existing car, those will also be a brilliant buy in my opinion.

I see discount brokers Coast2Coast cars now have the Superb listed, with  the base petrol model at just under £15k.

The 1.4 TSI SE is c.£17.2k, and the 2.0TDI SE Business at £19.5k.

Interesting - haven't spotted it at other brokers yet.
