hey fellas

i picked up and window regulator and the wiring loom multiplug at a breakers. from a 2000 estate 1.9 tdi far as i know.

put them into my mk1 vrs and now on the drivers door buttons my window works and my door locks but none of the other windows work with drivers buttons and the central locking button only locks my door.

is there something i can do to resolve this or is it down to the different model.

i could live without the windows but not happy about fact i cant lock/unlock other doors with my kids being in the car...

any suggestions much appreciated

Is the number on the window motor exactly the same? If not may have to be coded to work with CCM.

my mate has a cable and program on his labtop ive used to scan for codes before. is that what you would use to code to work with ccm

ill check the numbers but think the sticker with PN on is all gummed up

Sounds like a part number mismatch, think it's when they're a different year like last initial is different. Believe you can code it with vag com but I've never done it.

Yeah vag com VCDS is what you need though never done it myself either.
