I've had a problem for a while that my xenons don't do the start up sweep! Well after a little fiddle on vcds 2day I managed to clear codes and get the motors to move, so now they do there start up sweep and adjust on the move but when I line up against a wall or garage door it shows my passenger light is a lot lower than the drivers so my question is can you adjust each light individual?

Yes they can be adjusted, you need to put them in learn mode first using vcds then adjust as normal. When exiting learn mode they will sync to the new positions.

I do not know what is your car MY , But there is a manual adjuster in the headlamps . I have 2008 Octavia L&K it looks like this as specified in this post

After aligning them I adapt with the VCDS so now it reacts as the suspension goes up or down .

This is a huge must. If they aren't in learn mode when you manually adjust the motors will hit the bottom/ top of their adjustment and break.

Once in learn mode there is two simple socket screws on the inside edge of each light. Visible when the bonnet is up.
