Subwoofer and Amp

Featured Replies

I finally blew up my Edge sub and amp, so I'm looking around for a new setup.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Would go with Alpine, never had a problem yet and I've had mines for 3 years

Blew it up? It might be repairable.

my money goes on JL audio amps but they are quite pricey.

Well the amp has power and the protect light is not on or flashing, but no bass from the sub, sub is pretty hot to touch to so I'm guessing the coil has gone??

Reading that back to my self I could just get a different sub? And keep the same amp?

Disconnect the speaker from the amp, and with an ac volt meter see what voltage you get out the amp when you pkay white noise through it.

All depends on budget

I love my JL stuff
