Hi folks,

I have a new vRS estate on order, it's specced with the free Amundsen which I believe has 2 SD card slots.

Want to throw my music on the spare SD card.

What is the largest SD card the Amundsen will read?

I have had a search but not seeing the answer.

Personally I have a 32GB card in my Amundsen+ (62 Plate Blackline) and 32GB is plenty. Ended up deleting some as navigating that amount of music can get boring - Depends how the new model lets you navigate folders. 

 

I just swap out music as I feel, two smaller cards may be better than one huge card.

128GB is a huge amount of music. In theory 128GB would hold around 1900 CD's worth of music. As Wookiee says, that's an awful lot of navigating around the card and probably not worth the effort.

I'd love to meet someone who

a ) has 1900 CDs

-and-

b ) can actually justify needing them in the car ;)

 

I have a Columbus with 10GB taken up with music, most of which I don't listen to due to practicalities. (You simply can't dip in and out of The Wall, Tubular Bells, Dark Side Of The Moon, or War Of The Worlds......you need a journey for those ;) )

Well "cough" I gave a collection of 3.378 albums containing 77.682 tracks :-)

But would I want to run a disco from my car, no thanks! 32gb is more than enough

I have a 32gb card in mine works 100%

It should, in theory, support as large cards as you can get your hands on. 32gb and up is the same standard.
