How can I fit a rear view reversing camera to my skoda fabia 1.2?

Featured Replies

I have bought a reversing camera for my Skoda fabia. Is it safe to assume that as far as the power goes, I need to be splicing into the cable for the reversing lights?

Next question, it comes two metal screws - presumably they are not expecting me to make a hole through the metal of the car? (hopefully)

thanks,

Most of the ones I've seen replace one of the reg plate lights and fit in place of the plastic housing.

okay thanks. would the car still be legal though with only one reg plate light?

Wire the camera up to your reverse light the run the monitor cable either on the roof lining or down along the o/s to the drivers door and go up

Sometimes you do have to make your reg plate light hole bigger to fit it.... Depends on the camera
