Wonder if anyone has any suggestions..

we are currently drawin up plans at ma company for a company wide printing solution..

originally we were going to go for a HP mfp device in each location.. (about 85 locations)

problem is, our exec wants everyone to be-able to print in colour if they want.. which has upset our plans (the colour MFPs are too expensive)

does anyone reccomend a decent-cheap to run colour printer... either a reliable deskjet (currently using business inkjet 1200s) or a colour laserjet that offers some sort of options for restricting the use of colour.

the original idea with teh MFP is to reduce the TCO as currently everything they print is color, just because they can, and they abuse the system by printing out their own stuff in hq, so ink costs are sky high! (a study shows we could potentially save 90k over 3 years at our HQ by replacing deskjets with MFP printers as noone actually needs to print colour)

does anyone have any ideas on printers?
