Seat base rocks and creaks at 75K just adds character!

Handbrake will only do this with provocation! Now only a LITTLE pull, not all the way up! Just tell the little darlings to be more gentle! Lost cause I know.....

Although mine also failed an MOT as a result with a "dangerous" :(

I had both problems. I solve first by moving seat back and forward and second just put back handbrake shroud and didnt bother with that anymore

I had a fiat prior to the fabia so i'm used to quite a lot of creaking, i just turn the radio up.

trick to passing mot is to drop seat right down! as long as ts secure to floor its good.

I Don't have a vRS, but My Fabia is 5 Years old and beleive it or not, there is not a single squeak or rattle from anything in my car and it is as tight as a brand new one, infact the build quality on it is better than any other Fabia Iv'e been in, Including a Brand New Sport which seemed to have had the electric window switches hammered into the dashboard?. Maybe Mine Was Built before Friday Afternoon :)
