Does anyone have one of these short shifter kits fitted or know if they would fit a fabia vrs?

I know of other short shifters that people have fitted (b&m style) but ideally I'd want to keep the stock gear knob and looks like the fitting is pretty complex

Seemingly these gearbox mounted ones aren't compatible with the Fabia

Oh ok, do you know why it is that they don't fit?

I would've thought that all the 1.9tdi 6 speed boxes would be the same fitment
