I want to buy some 18's for my octavia VRS I'm bored of the stock wheels and balloon tyres

 

I want to use 225/40/18 tyres ideally 

 

what size wheel would be best? 18 x 7.5 or 18 x 8 which offset et45?

 

i am using eibach sports springs and i want Zero clearance issues

225/40/18 is a widely used tyre, if in doubt use falken or pirelli as they have a nice rounded shoulded

Vredesteins iirc also are smooth edged

Bf goodrich are bulky as are some of the budgets

Im running 8x18's on mine with 225/40/18 tyres. Its pretty low and only scrubs if im like 4-5 up in the car with some weight in the boot.

 

Personally im going to change the tyre size to illiminate the scrubbing all together. Will prob go down the 215/35/18 route.
