Tips on cutting monte diffuser

Featured Replies

The one thing i personally think the monte lacks is a shiny exhaust tip so im going to attempt cutting my diffuser and fitting a twin slash cut tailpipe finisher similar to vrs, The only problem ive got is im unsure how to cut the diffuser without making a complete balls up of it tried a few searches and most come up with a garage doing it?

Thanks James

Ill sell you a vrs diffuser if yiu want?

Only if you buy my monte one :) lol id rather save the cash and cut the one i have

You'd probably be better off going to a garage with decent pricing. You could easily cut the bumper yourself but I believe the exhaust on the TDI's at least are all pointed downwards at the tip, so you'd want the tip cutting off and a new straight pipe with twin tips welding on.

vRS bumper wouldn't fit a Monte due to the lower bodykit. Well, it would fit. But it'd look a bit naff.

Thanks yep it does point down ive no problem chopping that bit off so its straight done that before, just dont want the bumper cut to look shoddy might just mask it off draw an even shape and get the dremel out seems the safest option
