Upgraded Clutch Needed!

Featured Replies

So I've just slapped my bigger turbo on and I'm in need of a decent clutch before I can get it mapped! What upgraded clutch/flys are people using and how much did they cost?

Anybody have anything bad to say about the CG Motorsport Stage 3 clutch?

I recently fitted their dual friction clutch and duel mass flywheel to my pd130 seat Toledo after the standard clutch started to slip after it had been remapped by John at hidden power. Can't really fault it other than a very very slight shudder if you release the clutch slowly in first. If anything its very slightly lighter to use than the standard clutch. I would highly recommend them and reasonably priced as well.

I got the helix setup solid flywheel yes it rattles a little on tick over but is just a light as my standard clutch and have never juddered or slipped 280bhp

I was in a Bora today, pd150 arl engine, running about 250bhp and also has the helix single mass flywheel setup.

It rattles on idle and I'd say is about 15% heavier than standard (hard to put a figure on it :D)

Helix and smf for me if chasing big power!

Awesome pieces of kit

Hope you don't mind, but in the effort of not starting another thread/not finding what I need I thought I'd post here.

I have a slight judder about 3k in 3rd/4th.

Is this likely to be the flywheel?

Car is standard but I want to remap in the near future.

What clutch/flywheel should I look to purchase to replace, if that is the problem?
