Replacing temperature sensor valve

Good Sunday morning!

I have searched for this topic, I think my brain just gets lost in everything else that becomes of interest that I may need for my car!

So: Does anyone have any pictures/guides for replacing the temperature sensor valve please? Any hints or tips would be great too. I am a girl see and cant just go ploughing in to change it until I am sure its going to work (I hate doing things twice!)

Do you mean the coolant temperature sensor? It's not a valve - just a probe. The thermostat is the valve part that opens and closes with temperature.

Just to check - is your car a VRS and why do you want to replace the temperature sensor?

My car is VRS, I think I need to replace it as its the fault code showing for that. I think a visit to Mr Haines might be in order!

Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. I recently followed Audi Q7 with matrix leds and his headlights gave massiv

Good afternoon all. After not using my heater/blower for a couple of months. Turned on last week and aircon was blowing 'tepid' air. Have been to dealer this morning. They did a regas, confirming there were no leaks. Unfortunately has not cured the problem. They want to book in for a 'diagnostic' but cannot tell me what they will do or what they suspect can be wrong !! Has anybody had similar issues they may be able to give me some pointers towards please ??

I just put a new Alternator clutch on my2.0tdi CFFB but the new belt is squealing. The tensioner was new a year ago, but doesnt seem to have the tension needed all the time. It can feel loose, or feel ok but starts squealing . When you move the tensioner bolt, it feels like it is catching and needs pushing back into position. Is something broken? Is there an easy fix or do I just put a new tensioner in? (I know how difficult it is to do)

Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Followed for sometime this morning - Met Black, Orange wheels, side stipe and Orange rear wing outer tips. Drove with my window down, for several miles on this gorgeous morning, just listening to the fantastic sound ,under load and on overrun ! Hi .As the title really,no air comes through the face vents despite trying a recalibration several times. Is this something an interactive ( right description?) code reader can check? If the flap actuator has failed I shudder to think how inaccessible that might be! Thanks.
