Number plate pads

Featured Replies

Here's one for you, can anyone recommend any good sticky pads for securing a number plate? The glue used on my car is oozing out of the top a bit and looks a little nasty so I'd like to just whip the plate off and give it a really good scrub underneath

Just what I was after, it's one thing to search online, but it's nice to go for some others have used and know that work

he used a fair bit of it to make sure it was stuck on correctly, think he degreased/de tarred etc to make sure it stuck firmly too :)

Aye, it'll need degreasing for sure to remove the glue

I used pads from halfords, think I used the thinner type one, 1mm, I need to renew one side as starting to unpeel. I also used silicone too. Good luck.
