Replacement lock cover for car.

Featured Replies

Is replacement lock cover for cars a worthwhile insurance and what would happen if your locks needed replacing and you didn't have this addon?

Why is this an add-on, most comprehensive policies provide lock replacement as standard in the event that keys are stolen (not lost)? Subject to the policy excess and a cost limit.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't come as standard with Rias.

Are you sure?

Is it a Full comp policy.

The man who rang me said I didn't have it and I was paying £350 so I moved elsewhere and got my insurance for £290. Only after reading the Rias documents did I realise it was included. Rias shot themselves in the foot.

Most insurance includes it as it's in the insurers own interests to ensure a car doesn't go walkies
