H & R Springs

Featured Replies

I think the sport adjustables still need more compression damping which is obviously  fixed (personal preferance?) i dont like the soft initial stroke of the h and r springs either,it uses up a lot of travel too soon when your 'on it', i dont have enough clearance as it is. (god i'm hard to please!!!). Next mod will be rear bar to get rid of the understeer.

You won't regret the rarb, best handling mod going

Well ive bit the bullet and ordered some 20mm H&R springs and should be here for the weekend so we'll see how we go with them, if im not happy then i may have to consider some uprated dampers.

Thanks for the input guys.

Just an update, ive now fitted my H&R springs to the standard dampers but just the fronts at the moment as im undecided if i like the ride or not plus i never had time to do the rears today,

To be honest the ride is more comfortable than i thought although quite a bit firmer but sits really nice with about a 15mm gap between the tyre and wheel arch, it has improved the turn in 10 fold it feels alot tighter and has better grip than before but i am comparing it to springs that were the wrong springs fitted.Overall im quite pleased but started looking for pot holes already!

I think my dampers may be due for replacement maybe within the year so i looked at bilstien, a set of B4's, front and rear on ebay at the moment for £173, What are your thoughts on these? Are they an improvement over OEM dampers?
