Parked in a tesco car park today and couldnt help notice another nice monte but couldnt help thinking mine seems a tad lower was in my van at the time so i couldnt check agaisnt it?

bit did you buy uses as a used car so possibly not on standard springs.

Yep only had it a few weeks, Couldnt help noticing I could see the tread on top of the tyres all the way across never noticed before on mine mrs diesels out in it at the moment might get the tape measure out later 

I drive mine quite hard in the bends and looking at pictures of when I picked it up from new, it definitely looks a bit lower. Is it possible for the springs/shocks to 'settle' ?

Looking to upgrade at some point to the bilstein b12 kit.

Dunno this one was the same year as mine too tho maybe did fewer miles or wasnt a monte just a kitted standard fab, I did get the tape out and I have about 2" gap at the top of front and back arches and my front splitters around 7" off the floor doesnt look lowered 

Different poundage of springs are they not, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 manual

from the 1.4tdi, 1.6tdi, 1.6 Auto so that the clearance & roof heights are the same.
