Where to get a Blt stutter egr gasket?

Featured Replies

Hi all! Can someone please tell me how I can get hold of an egr gasket that cures the blt stutter? And maybe supply a link?

Many thanks in advance,

Mike.

A dealer would be the best bet.

Seen some on eBay this morning when buying a normal one, was about £4 and made of stainless steel.

What did you put in for your eBay search?

Do you know roughly what the price is from a dealer?

Thanks for the help guys.

Weren't they down as a recall and the dealer should fit it for you?

Might be worth a visit to the dealer then after all.

Many thanks.

drop em a call they take your reg and do a system check or something, if its not covered - get through to parts dept and they can price it / order it for you for next day collection....well mine does anyway. lol

The "official" dealer fix might reduce the stutter but it doesn't work to eliminate it in all circumstances. In theory they cannot fix it properly as the engine goes out of range of Euro 4 emissions.

Either DIY fit it or go to a known indie garage or tuner.

Little bro fitted his on his Ibiza. Replacement gasket came with a 9mm hole but that produced a CEL. So he drilled it out to 11-12mm. And it's now running around fine.
