Due both Near side wheels having minor kerbing and the odd chip, I am looking to get my current Silver 18" Neptunes powder coated shortly but are the better in Silver or Black (gloss) on a Silver 2010 Octavia VRS Hatch ?

I did a quick photoshop of a silver Octavia with black Neptunes (I'm not expert so don't hate )

 

I'm in a similar boat, mines a red vrs and I'm undecided whether to go for silver or gunmetal.

 

Out of interest, what price have you been quoted for them to be refurbed?

I had my 14" wheels resprayed gloss black, full refurb on the centre caps and one wheel was damaged and refurbished, only got charged £200 (£50 per wheel) hope that gives you something to go by, with regards to your wheel colour a lot of cars have the "black and red" combo going on (myself included :peek: ) have you considered doing something different and getting them painted gloss white?

Cheers for that, I was expecting around £50 a wheel but its been a while since I've had any done so wasn't sure of the going rate.

 

I thought about white but I reckon it might be a bit much.  I like the red/black but theres a load of those around but not seen many red/gunmetal........ just gotta get the front bumper painted as the previous owner has scraped it and the sills sorted as theres a load of stone chips that have developed into rust, then its the wheels.
