Reading the end of the "xenon lights on furby vRs"post has made me wonder about discounting on this car.

Im in Glasgow and we have 2 Skoda dealers, neither of whom are prepared to offer any significant discount on a factory ordered car.

Best I got was about

If you were any good, you would have gotten a bigger discount

At the end of the day, if you dont like what you get, walk away... or drive away

I think some dealers have sold their allocations of the FabiavRS as far ahead as next year, so there isn't much incentive for them to discount. Another point to bear in mind is that any discounting will inevitably have an impact on secondhand prices, ie one man's discount is another man's depreciation.

I asked a guy at work to phone round quite a few Southern Skoda dealers. I also spoke to a couple myself. Most wouldnt really move.

If your in Glasgow, you could try Ingram's down the road in Paisley. Or Parks in Hamilton area. I found St. Andrews the best as they gave a discount without any pressure on a TDi Fabia. Push them a bit but the Glasgow Dealers are family run and so don't offer as attractive discounts as others.

Well, on my lengthy research on trying to get a furby vrs in black, I have found one now which I will pretty much buy.

It also has xenon and cruise which is what I wanted. List price for the metallic paint, xenon and cruise would be
