Easy entry and text message questions

Featured Replies

4 hours into ownership and already have some questions!

I specified easy entry memory seat (mine is a three door) when you pull the handle to slide the seat forward all is ok. But when I pull the seat back it seems to remember the distance but the seat is still bent fully forward! I'm either doing it wrong or it isn't working.

I've updated my PID with the latest software but it seems unable to read my text inbox on my iphone5. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Apart from this so far so good. My son loves it and wants me to keep it till he's 17 for him. My Mrs also is very impressed, it's the first time she has been in one.

Go to settings in your iPhone. Then Bluetooth. Press on right hand side info button for the PID it's picked up and turn on notifications [emoji106]

Should say Car Phone or Skoda. You'll then get texts on PID screen.

Really? I just read somewhere that iPhones aren't comparable with the text function?

Bingo, although it just displays the text and doesn't read it :-(

The guy gives you the option to read or cancel. After the bleep you say Read and he will read it out.

If there is emoticons in the text he won't [emoji57]

Ah ok. I just tapped the read option and it only displayed the text.

He's a bit slow to read the options to you. Good thing though still [emoji106]

Could be the volume is turned down, you can increase and decrease the satnav mans voice, bloody annoying when your coming up to a junction and go to turn the radio down or up and end up doing to the voice :D

My seat memory only does the distance then I have to set the back rest

I think that's how it works. The backrest you have to re adjust.
