Really? My old estate was traded in with that mileage on! Could be the same car....

What is your budget?

It is such a lottery buying a CAVE engine car you really need to know what you are doing.

A Member here currently has a Lemon that he bought as his 2nd Twincharger,

he knew what was what, having had an Oil Burner before,

bought wisely and currently is up a creak without a paddle.

If you can find a car for sale and it was a member on here that can vouch for it, and swear it is a good one,

then that gives some peace of mind.

Other wise you need a Water Tight Warranty on a car over 3 Years old,  check the Warranty History,

maybe one with a recent new engine will be a bargain and a good buy.

But buyer beware.

sounds like since ive been looking most people seem to say steer clear,i have an 07 roomster used to have a hyundai coupe, this is lighter so almost as fast, mapping i'll get 5bhp ive been told so not much

one reason i looked at the 1.4 tsi

ive alo looked at suzuki swift sports as power to weight a lot faster i used to have an older model one so i know what theyre capable of , that was  high tax etc and job loss only reason i got rid , newer one are different

now seems im at a loss looking wise should i just go monte carlo 1.2 tsi???????

I would go for a Suzuki Swift Sport before a Mk2 Monte Carlo,. Some go and handling and not just something with plastic add ons and no particular go only show.

Nope, not mine!

Although that one doesn't have standard wheels?!?

it looks like a members car though...

yeah i noticed the wheels

Look like winter wheels/tyres? That's £600 worth of rims missing!

easy noticable it looks like audi wheels tbh sticks out like a ore thumb when mot have gigario wheels on

the advert even says the car has got 17" Gigaro alloys, would be fun to drop in and ask where they are!

At the same time you ask where the Front Fog light switch & the Lights are.

They just take the Details as come up from the Skoda possible spec, and never bother looking at the likes of a Tyre and see the size of them.
