****ty day at work thought nice weather ill take her for a blast few country lanes bit of town driving , and what has amazed me is what happens to a "boy racer" when they see a vrs!! 

 

saxo saw me wanted to race ....**** off! 

vectra!! saw me put his foot down! **** off!!! 

clio saw me pulled up alongside revved his big bore!! **** offfffffff!!! 

 

is it just me or do you all get mindless ****s wanting to race u in a vrs????

Sometimes...although what I find round here is I don't think people realise what it is, or that it's been modified, so they tailgate trying to push you on (when actually doing the limit), so when I get chance I just open it up and watch them quickly become a speck in the mirror, most get the hint, some don't, but they're not usually so close if they catch up again.

I know it's not the quickest car on the road but it's quick enough to shut most people up.

your right fella its quick enough. i never pushed this saxo kid cus he was on the limit big time trying to prove a point  and i didnt want to be buffing out bits of his paintwork when parts flew off as he crashed!!

To be honest when people are tailgating or acting like that I'd rather give them the opportunity to pass and naff off.

I get this all the time with mine having the 3 inch exhaust on so I get some idiots in the bigger cars taking the mick or laughing until I stamp on the loud pedal and I disappear in to the horizon ha ha hybrid turbo ftw!!!!!

Never usually get it, best I get is granny's doing 40mph in a 60mph.....
