From MK1 VRS to MK2 FL VRS

Featured Replies

Well about 4 weeks ago I went and brought this little beauty from Skoda at York . I owned my MK1 VRS for 7 years and loved every minute of it but this I love even more !! Its 170Bhp CR Diesel with 38 thou on the clock . Very surprised how will she performs compared to my MK1which was staged 2 tuned . Had to give her a good valet as the dealers did a very poor job ! I never seen so much tar on a car ! took me about an hour to get it off using petrol and polish they left on was shocking . Think they painted the honeycomb grill with polish also , that was a nightmare getting that off also but she's slowly getting to the way I want her .

Glad you like it buddy it looks well. I've just jumped ship too after nearly 9 years of mk1 ownership. I also bought a 170vrs and i agree they go well. I think the fuel gauge is broken though it hardly moves!! But as a drive they are a lot more refined than the mk1 and interior is a lot better.

Good choice mate looks nice welcome to mk2 fl world

I'll keep a lookout for you Nick as you're quite close.

Maybe time to update your profile and sig too?
