Std paper filter flows exceptionally well and also filters properly.  One of the local racers here has tested the OEM stuff on a flow bench and can't see the point in upgrading.

If you go to an oiled foam panel filter then there is the potential to contaminate the MAF.

If you insist on throwing away your dollars you need a dry panel filter.  AFE (Advanced Flow Engineering) make good product. Part # 31-10172

thanks i have ordered a K&N filter i knew it had to be non oiled filter because of maf...  Not really throwing money away as you only have to clean it not replace so in long run if keeping car you never have to replace it.. plus i got it for £20 pound considering oem is around 9 quid (depending where its from) saving really!! :-)
