engine management light came on had snap on reader plugged in came up with these faults motor for intake manifold flap v157 no signal p3102 , 2, motor for intake manifold flap v157 open or short to ground p3101, 3 , fan 1controlcircuit short to ground p0691 , any ideas to make engine management light go out , it lost no power but erase codes and it goes out but comes back on after restart

1st Idea of mine would be to fix the issues as clearly erasing the codes and them coming back indicates problems.

Exactly. The codes are there to tell you that there's a problem, not just for a laugh. You've got to fix the problem then clear the faults....

The description is in the text isn't it? The inlet manifold would be where to start looking, a quick google suggests that it's not an uncommon issue on these engines

Id say the inlet manifold flap has seized and popped the fuse, which is also the fuse for the control unit for the fans.

Does anyone know where the fuse is that controls the inlet manifold flap? (octavia 2 1.9tdi, climatronic) can only find location for mk1 octavia.
