Red Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

The first job I had to tackle after buying the car was the slightly dirty interior.  I toyed with getting a pro to do it, but I always want to have a crack at these things myself first.  After reading a number of threads on the matter, I decided to hire a Rug Doctor.

Passenger seat before the cleaning:

During the clean, something good must be going on judging by the colour of the water!

So, overall the results aren't bad given the state of the interior in the beginning.  However even using the steam cleaner and rug doctor I couldn't get the passenger seat perfect.  I guess I'm 75% happy with the results.  It was hard going and the interior attachment didn't lend its self getting around all the bits of the carpet.

Next up I need to clean and feed the leather, but thats a job and story for another day, I have other toys that need TLC!

Clive.
