Anyone know if this will fit the MK2 Octavia VRS FL ?

 

I was parked next to a GOLF GTI at the lights today and liked the look of the gear stick so started looking

 

If this won't fit anyone got a idea what would ?

Well yeah it has actually its called *STOCK SUSPENSION* haha  

It fits, but only the knob. You will have to take the leather bag from the octi.

how are they attached both knob and gator?

Some older Pictures and on a pre fl Octi 2. But it is the same on your car.

 

You will have to Lever the plastic ring off the knob to remove the gaitor.

looks very nice and the new one just go's on the same? plastic ring?

Pull up the gaitor and you will see the Metall clamp. Carefully remove the clamp (you can with a small screwdriver).

Than pull up the knob with the gaitor in one. Firm pull, but dont pull up with your head above it. Could cause severe pain

Than you will have to remove the plastic ring that holds the gaitor to the knob. As in the Pictures.

Do the same to the Audi knob (you can also buy the Audi knob without the Audi gaitor).

Push the Audi knob throught the Skoda gaitor and put the plastic ring back in place.

Than push the Audi knob (with the opened Metall ring) in place. Close the Metall ring with some pliers and push the gaitor down in its place.

 

Done.
