another stupid question part durrr: wanting to ally up mk1 est, which wheels will fit without spacers/ coil raise/lower etc ? ie bog standard fabia  I did look at the stigkies on alloys but am nervous of  getting it wrong so thought I,d enquire to the more tech savvy folk here

Make sure they're 5x100 fitment and no bigger than 17"

If you stick 'em in the hot wash so they shrink to 16"s I'll have 'em :P

16 inch TD pro-race 1.2's look awful imo on the Fabia, look tiny!

Function as in the old chestnut 'they handle better on 16's' rubbish?

Try both like I have on road and track then report back your findings ;)

17's handle the same, if not slightly better due to lower tyre profile, look 1000 times better for sure, and clear bigger brakes.

Not much going for the 16 is there :D

Will have a set of fabia vrs 16" alloys with tyres (showing wear but passed MOT with no issues)
